Call first, then come in
Give us a call at (208) 454-0473 as early in the day as you can and tell us what's going on. We offer same-day emergency care for patients new and returning, and we'll get you in as soon as we can.
What counts as a dental emergency
- A toothache that keeps you up at night or won't go away
- A cracked, chipped or broken tooth
- A lost filling or crown
- Swelling in your gums or face
- A tooth knocked loose or knocked out
What we do at your visit
First we stop the pain. Then Dr. Keven Freeman explains what's causing it and your options, from a filling or crown to a root canal or an extraction. You'll know the plan and the cost before anything else happens.
While you wait
- Rinse with warm salt water and take an over-the-counter pain reliever as directed on the label
- Hold a cold compress on your cheek for swelling
- For a knocked-out tooth, hold it by the top (not the root), keep it in milk and call us right away
- Facial swelling with fever or trouble breathing or swallowing: go to the ER or call 911
